phyrexia Well-known member Joined May 10, 2005 Messages 2,505 Reaction score 0 Location Birmingham, AL Apr 24, 2009 #4 compact is more directional. widebody has different bass response. widebody 'breathes' better (read: prettier cleans IMO) the eq assign switch and the midgain/harmonics switch are on the front of the WB amp as opposed to the rear of the compact.
