How do you tell the difference with a 1x12 combo widebody ?

You have a 1x12 compact combo and a 1x12 widebody combo my question is what is the difference between the 2 combo's?

compact is more directional. widebody has different bass response. widebody 'breathes' better (read: prettier cleans IMO)
the eq assign switch and the midgain/harmonics switch are on the front of the WB amp as opposed to the rear of the compact.

The regular combo is like 19" wide. The wide body is 24", I think.
