How neccesary is the fan in my Mark III rackmount head? I just got it last weekend. I'm absolutely in love with the sound but that fan is loud as hell.
yeah, you need the fan. You can get a quieter one at an electronics parts supply store, but seriously you won't hear it if you're playing at normal volumes.
