Quesion about running a power amp for stereo with a mark iv?

I noticed some people have stereo rigs running one amp and a power amp? How is this done and how well does it work? I have a mark IV and was thinking about buying another head to run in stereo but buying a mesa power amp seems very promising .... Would love to find out how this works and how well thanks.

You would need some way to split your signal to go to both amps. I run a G major in the loop of my mark III which splits the signal into stereo so i can send the Left signal to the mark III return and the right signal to another amp. This gives me a true stereo rig...one way to do it.

seems like I ran out of the sat. send into a Boogie 50/50 power amp...been a while, but it was cool-nice, fat stereo...MK IV has lots of versatility-check man. on sat. send!

I run my mark IV with a Mesa satellite. Works like a champ. Use the satellite out of the Mark IV to the fx return on any amp and it will work. I used my Mark III combo before I got the satellite.
