quad question please help

could i run a quad through a mark III head???

would it sound as good as being run through a power amp??

i dont know much about power amps and the technical side of things so please be gentle

Hey, if you have a preamp, like the quad and you don't have a poweramp to put it through, you could use your heads power section by simply inputting the quads outputs to your FX return. This will be using the Powersection of your mark III and you will only hear the preamp of the quad and the powersection of the mark III. You're better off getting a poweramp for the preamp because it'll be in stereo for one and the quad sounds better witih a poweramp IMO
