I broke the fuse cap on my Quad about 9 years ago. It has sat in storage since then. I still have the cap but I don't still have the piece that broke off the end that the fuse sits in. Can someone please take a picture of what the whole cap looks like? I wonder where I can find a replacement?

THanks.

i'm sure if you call boogie they have a part that will work. probably the same cap on almost every amp

Yours looks different on the outside. I used to have a large Mesa Boogie collection when it broke and no other fuse cap from the other Boogies were the same as this one. I have since parted with all but one of my IIC+ heads but went through a ton of other amps (Engls, VHT, Spalwn, etc, etc, tec), and none of those fuse caps fit my Quad either.

if boogie doesn't have a replacement cap, maybe a replacement cap and fuse receiver on the inside. The hole in the chassis maybe a standard size, so it may be possible with a little soldiering to replace the fuse assembly. That's weird that nothing else fit. seems like fuses are pretty much the same, with the big difference being the filament that burns out.
