Mates, a friend of mine plans to buy a quad. Searching on the net we found two different(?) versions.
1st one non-midi:

2nd w/midi:

Any differences in sound, quality etc. besides the midi option?
thanks
V

Non-midi quad has two reverb tanks... Midi version loses a tank to make way for the midi control circuit board. not sure how this would affect sound quality of the reverb because i've never heard a midi quad but this is only difference as far as i know...

I had a midi version. sounded great, but reverb probably wasn't as good as non midi reverb, as stated above. if i buy another, i might go with the non midi and just switch with a GCX GCP setup, or amp gizmo.

either way, a great amp

Thanks mates!
Well, i think that the midi option is great addition. You can use a quality fx processor and have the reverb from there...
anyway thanks again...
