QUAD.CH-1.BAKBAKBAK

Quad is a good preamp.

but sadly, it sound weird these days on Ch-1
when I dont play (even didn't plug), it will have some "bakbka..dee.deee" sound come. like some bad-contact on our cable...When Ch-2 is dead silent.

the weird sound at both channel of CH-1. (clean and dirty)

Is it time to change its tubes?
Or....please....dont tell me it got others problems.

while I am in a place that I cant get any serious support....

just changed tubes today
the bakbak sound from CH-1 clean is gone
but when I switch to ch.1 dirty, still have some un-stable noise.

pls help a bit if anyone had experience

Can you be a little more descriptive with the problem you are experiencing?
