Hey Lone Star people,
I've been trying to find time and space to get a reasonable recording situation together at home, and this is my first take at a tracking attempt with what I have. Shaky, but WTF.
Shure SM57, pointed into the back of my LSC 1x12 combo.
Pretty much straight into my Mac and GarageBand.
2 tracks: Ch1 on the right, Ch2 on the left.
There's some hiss, as I realized later that I'd left the fan on. :\
Ch1
Gain: 1:30
Treb: 2:00
Mid: 10:00
Bass: 11:30
Pres: 11:30
Ch2
Drive: 10:00, Normal
Gain: 1:30
Treb: 2:00
Mid: 12:30
Bass: 10:30
Pres: 2:00
Both channels at 100w, Full power.
The amp is loaded with EH 6V6s on the inside, YellowJackets with JJ EL84s on the outside. FX loop is engaged, level at 1:30, nothing in the chain on either side.
My LSC has undergone both the original Reeder mod and the Mid Mod. I couldn't be happier.
Oh yeah, the guitar is my 2001 Gibson Les Paul Standard, which I believe has whatever the stock pups it started with. I haven't monkeyed with this at all.
Here it is, folks.
