I can see that being fun to get into that combo shell.  The head is just as much fun but at least the face plate can be removed if needed (unless you have a hardwood cabinet).  Trying to get the power cord back in was more of an issue for me.  Tried assembly with and without the power cord attached, was easier to assemble without the cord in place.  Chassis removal with the Mark VII or JP2C is about the same as is the difficulty getting it back in.  Not something I will do often.  Not sure if the cardboard trick will work though, the internal load resistors are not internal, they hang down at the front of the chassis.
