My Quad only starts to sound really sweet after its been switched on for about an hour. Before then it always sounds a bit rough but after about 60 mins it really starts to sing. How much warm-up do you guys normally use with your pre / poweramp before they hit the sweet spot? Are some tubes better than other for warming? I'm considering putting my rack on a timer switch so its ready to go when I arrive for a rehearsal!
