Poweramp valve colour coding question...

I would like to know the difference between them green and yellow valve colour codings. I sure hope some of you guys would know the differences, cause I've ordered two sets of Winged C 6L6 quads, with each set being one of those two colour codes I've mentioned...

If you're referring to the Mesa color coding, red have the most headroom/latest breakup, then yellow, green, gray, blue, white. So, yellows are a bit "cleaner" than greens.

I doubt there will be much difference between the yellow and greens, but I'm curious to hear your review. In which amp are you running them?

I'm sure my stock STR 440s are also green labelled. Nevertheless, I'll try both colour codes out...
