does anyone know where i can get a power supply for a mesa abacus. i'm tring to run it with my triaxis and the triaxis does not supply phantom power to the abacus. you have to run a power suppply through the triaxis and it powers through a 7 pin midi cable.

You can find wall-warts all over the place online, just make sure it's a high current one. all those display segments draw current. I'm using a 12v one from a sega genesis, it's rated at 1A. Don't use some small 200ma unit or you'll let the smoke out of it.

12V 1A thnks for the info but in order to buy a new power supply I need to know where the positive polarity is (inside the plug hole or outside).

thanks
