wich part is yours ?
The ones that dont have drum ?
Im sorry but I dont know the song

When theres no drum guitars sounded very treble.
On the drums part guitars sounded less treble and more middy.
If yours is the one with more treble just take off a little.
If is the other, take off some mids and add some presence.

I think it is .
Anyway good tone

with low power pups (virtual hot paf dimarzio) i found a great mark iv lead/rhythym tone like lamb of god in ch 3 vintage on RK. gain at like 2:00 treble @ 12:30 bass @ 2:00 mid @ 9:00 output bypassed only channel volume. i crank it to like 8:00 at least to get some tube saturation...

with higher output pups its harder to get the sound. you have to roll back on gain tremendously to get the same "sharp string clarity" effect that lamb of god is famous for

Virtual Hot PAF Dimarzio's are very cool pickups! I think EB/MM was putting them in the EVH model when they first came out.

that's pretty tight stuff there! Some of the best tight tracking I've heard out of a recto. What were the settings like, if you don't mind? thx

Im amazed how close you have gotten. I messed around with my single Rec for a long time, trying to get a tone wher the bass was tight enough, but never could - I used a 10 band EQ and a Modded tube screamer, never got it. In my opinion that is the only thing keeping you from nailing the tone - rectifier sag!

Great work though, i concur with what other people are saying - a little less gain, and a little less treble. Im seriously impressed with how close you have gotten though. With post recording re-EQ, you might be able to grab it!

Good Luck

nice job man!! i think that actually sound really good...especially for a recto trying to get that sound.

i've been trying myself to get a sound similar to this. i've been using a tubescreamer but does the external EQ make a big difference?

i'm not sure about it... Koprofag, i think you've been able to get a quite good mark-ish tone from your recto, but your tone is definitely different from lamb of god's one, and you are not so close to it in my opinion... !!!BUT!!! i think your tone is better than their one, seriously. I would just set the presence a bit lower... however if you like their tone better anyway, i would set the mid higher (probably in the graphic EQ...) and lower the gain a bit... but, sincerely, i think that if your tone were recorded, how to say... more professionally, it would be better than lamb of god's one. Conclusion: Wanna Hear More Clips!

its close. i think its too "scratchy"

lacks the smoothness of LOG...

contrary to everyones opinion try lowering the presence and giving some treble. at least 12:00

what kind of pups???

i can't stress how important pups are in getting tone especialyl lamb of god tone who ive read a lot of articles are about the low vintage output of a sh 59 and the crazy power of the mark iv

at soundcheck you can hear how loud they crank the sh*t out of the mark iv..... much louder than any band ive heard.

yea they are unbelievable pickups. not even my fav (steves special) but they are great nonetheless...... very good vintage liquid tone naturally spilling out (no pun intended)

they dont really push an amp but stay very clean and clear. lets your tube amp really work to amplify
