I would look at the preamp to troubleshoot first.

Try changing V1 or V2 and see if the problem persists.
 
I don't know anything about your problem, but why do you leave it in standby for 15-30 minutes after playing? The standby sequence is only needed when starting the amplifier. Using standby, especially for that long after use, just wears down the tubes.
 
Use standby if you are not going to play for more than 30 minutes.

Doing so saves the life of the tubes.

This got me thinking ...
