possible to mod Mark IV A to have reverb footswitch?

i would love to know if this is possible.
i just got home with my mark iv a, its the big brother to my early dc-3

i cant believe they failed to put a reverb switch on this beast!

okay, after some more digging i found...
"-Reverb switch on the A could be made by adding a RCA Y splitter to the input of the reverb tank with one side going to the reverb tank and the other side to a ground to tip short pedal. this shorts the reverb tank to ground effectively creating a on/off switch.WORKS GREAT!"

problem solved.
i knew the answer had to be here somewhere, this board is fantastic.
