Plugging Engl Powerball into 2 Mesa 4x12's

I wanted to make sure I run this right without damaging anything. Please help, I usually use a head for each cab, but I want to run just my engl powerball 100 watt head into 2 mesa recto 4x12's. The Engl powerball is similar to the dual rect. Do I link one cab to the other, if so which plug on the cabinet? Sorry if this a dumb question, just never have tried it. Thanks

What ohm outs does the power ball have ? If its 8 Ohms it should have 2 4ohm outs and you can plug it in there.

If you chain your cabs in series, you'll have 16 ohms...if you plug them both directly into the head, you'll have 4 ohms.

Depending on which you do, make sure the amp is running at that resistance.

What do you guys usually do with your rectifiers? And is there a tone difference between 2 ways to hook it up?
