They work and they work great. I prefer using the Planet waves connectors even though I don't use their cable. Take a look at this pic...
You see that flared out piece on the jack? That's why I like their connectors. My TriAxis jacks always feel loose to me and when you plug one of these in there it gets tight as..... well you get the picture hehe.
Love the cables but I got the kit planning on using it with my RG 16, and the ends do not fit well at all. In some cases I flat out can't get it in. In other cases the ends will kind of pop themselves loose. Perhaps a bigger problem because I still get sound but it's a really faint signal and it took me a while to realize what had happened cause everything looked and even felt connected in the back.
I now use the cables to connect my pedals to my GRX4 and then use different cables to connect the GRX4 to my RG 16. Great sound and super convenient. But I wouldn't try them if you don't have much room for your jacks.
I wired up an entire rack using those Planet Waves connectors and a bunch of their wire I bought in bulk. It had a Triaxis, Recto, FX processor, GCX, etc. Never had any toruble with any of it. I have a handful of them on a small pedalboard I use with my 2 channel Rectos too, no probs there either.
