PTI...

I've been seeing quite a few "anyone interested in my..." posts lately. FWIW, I think a lot more interest would be generated if people would just POST PICTURES with their ad! :?

Back to our program in progress...

I would tend to agree with you on that.
But I think part of the problem is posters need to use an external link for pics (i.e. photobucket) which adds an extra step of "hassle" to the process.

It's almost easier to email a photo to a prospect than go through that (at least, that is one possible viewpoint).

In the end, however, I guess it boils down to just how serious is one about trying to sell their stuff. If I were needing the money, I would do whatever it takes.
Just my $0.02!

Good luck! :D

I always post pics of my gear for sale as a matter of proof and full disclosure of the item's condition so there's no question from the start. It's not hard to create a photobucket account and post your pics. I think it is a vital part of the sale process actually. But, some people are not computer savvy and it is hard enough for them to just login here and create a thread. Pictures are not mandatory, but IMO are definitely a way to increase the odds that you'll get a sale. Some people guard their email and would rather just use the PM function on the boards.
