Pedal for Mark v 25

Dear all,
Can you suggest a pedal to put in front of my Mark v 25? I play metal riffs with lots of distortion. The amp has enough distortion but I am looking for a pedal that will tighten up the sound a bit -- a little less round, a little more focused and djenty.

Take this advice from a long time Mark user. A 10 band EQ in the loop will give you what you want. It may seem redundant because you have the 5 band built-in GEQ but once you see how you can shape the tone's overall character, you'll thank me.

Using a boost up front has much less effect on the tone, but will work. Try both like I have, and decide yourself.
