But yeah. It sounds great in the room. It shall tide me over till i get my dream amp. For now , paying for eye surgery will be my main focus.

Unfortunately it doesn't exist in new form ( which i want cuz im obsessive).

The best tone i ever heard was a 1993 VHT Classic 100 reverb combo. Perfect, i mean PERFECT high gain tone, defined , heavy, and this vocal bark to it that just .... HEAVEN.
I played it at GC, it was in GREAT condition , and was 1300 bucks. I could only talk the sales guy down to 1250, which i thought was still too much for an amp that old. So i got a 50/cl thinking, its been 15 years steve fryette could have only made these things better....
Wrong.
Wrong.
Wrong.

Now i cant find hardly eny of em for sale. NONE near me, and most importantly NONE at that price. I kick myself over it till this day.

And part of my compulsion is that i cant allow myself to pay too much for something. Its was 1300, so now i can never let myself pay more than 1300 for that amp.

An ultralead is the closest thing new (or a clx) , but at 3500 - 3900 bucks new. I would NEVER pay that much. Because i know it cost the exact same to make as stevies 2k dollar amps, its just an artificial price hike. I wont pay it.

So after i get things sorted out,

either a sig:x or roadster.

One thing is for sure, i will never buy from a place with no return policy again.
