Hello, I'm an Italian new user of the Mark V and I'm very happy.
I have two questions about the amp.
1. About the the operation of the SOLO pot
I set the switch to LOOP ACTIVE and when I engage the SOLO function, it works only if the OUTPUT pot is set before 1am o'clock, when the OUTPUT pot is past 1am o'clock, until clockwise, the SOLO pot doesn't add volume in any position.
Is this correct?
2. About the reverb in the channel switching.
When I change channel with the reverb active, in the new channel the reverb takes a few seconds to be heard.
I hope that your experience can help me.

1. Page 38 in the manual: "The SOLO control can only be used to achieve a volume level above (louder) than that already set by the OUTPUT control. It may not be used to achieve a level lower than that determined by the OUTPUT control."
Also, if the OUTPUT is set high, like you are doing, the SOLO will have less effect.

2. This is normal. It prevents spill-over.

While I found this true in 10 and 45W settings, I have yet to play loud enough in 90W to where the solo and output nearly matched in volume.
