JJ makes my 2nd favorite current production 6V6.

I like the Tung-Sol 6V6GT. Much smoother. The review at The Tube Store says it's more creamy than crunchy. That's a great way to describe it. More open sounding than the JJ, too. But not as loud or 'in-your-face.'

The king cheese of all 6V6 types - the only ones I use in my '59 Tweed Deluxe - the Bendix (Red Bank) 5992.

Uuuummmmm...I don't know what to say.

Last time I checked, the pics of my amp have been removed from the site. It's top secret, the tubes were of a type used in a nuclear ICBM. He meant it when he said he'd only make one. But there are some godly custom one of a kind boutique amps made there...www.toadsucktones.com

 back atcha! Peace.

PS Bendix tubes ROCK! Sorry for being off topic.
