Sorry if I'm off-topic, but OMG. Orange announces amp with built-in, full-spec Intel computer:

Great! Now you have to buy a new guitar amp every two years!

But I already have no problem plugging a guitar into a computer, tell me why I need this?

Would make sense if it was just a computer, not a guitar - most Wintel machines are fugly, and tone preference aside, Orange amps are undoubtedly cool looking.

FWIW of everyone I know who has a home studio, the vast majority run on the Macintosh platform, and those who do run a PC do so because they are homebuilders/PC fanatics, who would never buy a product like this.

Anyone remember the Intel Telecaster from a few years back?

IMO it's just another Gibson type techno crash & burn.

Absolutely terrible idea. It has as much expandability as a laptop but without the portability. I'm assuming there's no adding internal hard drives or pci cards and you'll be paying a premium price for the orange branding and "modeling" software. I wonder if this was posted on April 1'st, because this looks like a joke!
