OK, kudos to the seller. But am I missing something here? I mean $960 smackers!! And not only that, but represented as "custom made" to fit a rackmount?!! And billed as a "100 watts" when it's a simulclass?!! I knew I got a good deal on my III Simul head, but if this were the norm, I must've stolen it! :)

That went a bit high didn't it, any of the short chassis marks will fit in a rackmount so there's nothing really custom about it. Whoever made that up is just a good salesman plain and simple. Technically you could call anything custom that isn't exactly like every other one of the same kind, in that way if you put el34's in a recto you could call it custom do to it's tubes, not that every other recto can't use them, it's just not how every other one is ran.
