hey guys,

I was playing my mark 4 medium head and all of a sudden it just made a wierd noise and within seconds it just shut down. So i thought it was the fuse and i got it replaced, but my problem is putting it back it. To take the bad fuse out, i had to push it, then twist and pull. but i've spent near half an hour trying to put it back in and it just won't stay in.

I know the fuse was the problem because when I add pressure to the fuse and I turn to tweed power, the amp finally turns on.

thanks guys

Make sure that your new fuse is the same length as your old one. It should be.

When you push the fuse with the fuse cap, is there a little pressure pushing it back against the cap?

Also, your fuse having gone out may be just a symptom of another issue rather than the cause. So, if you go through another fuse, then you have some other problem. It could be a tube going bad.
