I picked up an eventide time factor and mod factor i put them through the loop and they sounded like **** ,now all my effects have sounded horrible through it and i know the differences between serial and parallel ,question is if i bypass the loop what exactly does that do can i still use my effects ?? is there some knob that becomes obsolete? what im wondering is if i bypass the loop will my effects work and sound better.Sorry if this is nooby lol.

if you bypass the loop you would have to put the effects in front of the amp not ideal for modulation and delay effects. i would have the loop modded to serial fairly easy to do at a good tech.

I have just setup all my pedals through the loop, and found that to get the levels balanced with using the FX on/off function, that the SEND level needs to be on 50% and the MIX level on 100%...

Does this sound right, I have also found some of the 'chainsaw' that is typical of the recto, is now ironed out a bit even when the effects are bypassed on the footswitch, does this sound right people?????
