For the FOR YOUR INFORMATION file. I contacted MB about this, they couldn't give me an exact figure but up into the high 900's 2 x 12 combos were made. Makes it a rare-ish amp chaps 8)

we gots 2 at long and mcquade in vancouver. they've been there for more than a year! i guess its hard to sell them for 2400, when a dual rec is 2600, and a lonestar is 2200.

Yeah understandable. Mine was 3 years old when I bought it brand new. The importers here in New Zealand dropped the price heaps (NZ$3800 to NZ$2500) when MB ceased production - and I swooped on it. Hell it was cheaper than the marshall DSL and TSL 50W 1 x 12 combos! and a lot more amp to boot.
I'm really surprised they didn't sell better when they were in production, they are such simple, versatile, great sounding amps. Perhaps it was the name.

Thanks, I am enjoying it heaps. Wish I could have found a 45 to try out - they looked like awesome amps.
