Folks.......
Any help will be appreciated. I have a Boogie 50 cal+ head w/ EQ. I purchased this amp in 1990. It's been gigged and retired a few times. I just replaced the power and pre-amp tubeshoping to cure a "hiss".
The loudness of the "hiss" is directly related to the setting of the "Master" volume control. Also, when the EQ is engaged, the hiss gets louder.
Does anyone have any advice on solving this problem? Any help on this would be appreciated!!
