Noise from channel switch box

I noticed a lot of noise coming from my amp when I was playing through the clean channel. So I unplugged the channel switching cable and the noise went away. I thought it was the cable so I tried a new cable but the noise persisted. So I tried a different channel switching stomp box and that was the problem. I have five different Mesa switch boxes, three didn't make noise, two did, why? Of the three that work, one is a mini dual, one is Red/rhythm, one Red/ lead. The ones that didn't work were a Mark lll Rhythm 1, Rhythm 2 and the dual's matching mini pedal.

Not much to that type switch,try cleaning the switch with some contact cleaner spray.Just spray some in the only opening along the shaft of the push button.Spray and then work the switch a couple times.
