Hi. While I am waiting for my 2:90 power amp to arrive, I have been trying to use the power section of my Mark V to power the Triaxis. Currently running the TA with an Eclipse in the FX loop, output from the TA to the return of the Mark V. However, NO sound is coming thru the Mark V. I can run the output off the TA directly to the Mark V imput, but that sounds kinda sucky... Am I missing something? The loop on the Mark V is activated and the mute is off. The loop is working when both send and return jacks are used for fx. HELP!! Is there another way to wire this for results WITH sound??
Thanks Guys!!

That's odd. Maybe there is a switch in both jacks (send and return) of your Mark V? Why don't you just put a patch lead in the send jack and see if that switches the power section on.

try pluggin a dummy cable in the send of the mk v loop to cmplete the circuit.
Umm, didn't I just suggest that? :?
hahaha you did. didn't really read your comment as I should have. Oh well, really drives the point home. 8)

lol, at least we are keeping the board alive!

Tried the dummy cable. No luck. Still NO sound coming out of the Mark V. Weird because I had been using it the same way the day before, and it was working without a dummy cable :?: ! The loop works fine with FX patched in, checked that to be sure I didn't fry the loop somehow, but running the TA output into the return jack of the Mark V fx loop, with or without the dummy cable = silencio! Now I am really stumped! Thanks for the suggestion guys. Any other ideas?

It's got to be something simple if you had it working before. Bad cable? Output turned down on Tri? Approach it from the most basic angles and you'll figure it out.

Thanks Ando. I thought EXACTLY the same thing!! KISS! Anyhow, I have tried everything I can think of, changed cables, TA output jacks, TA output level, removing processor from TA FX loop, changed all cables (again), dummy plug into the Mark V send jack... As I mentioned, if I plug directly into the Mark V imput, I have a live signal and sound, sucky as it may be... Anyhow, I should recieve my used 2:90 tomorrow :D :D . I should be ready to go. Pity I couldn't figure this one out. Even re-tried the FX loop in the Mark V this morning with my pedal board and works like a charm. Thanks again!
