New tubes

I have a question to ask you all about replacing the tubes in an amp.

Im planning on replacing the tubes in my mesa dual recto with some new JJ 6l6 tubes so I was just wondering do I need to get my amp biased by a amp tech before I can put these new set of tubes into my amp.

Or would it be perfectly acceptable If I was to just go ahead and replace my old tubes with the new one's.

If you get them from a reputable dealer and tell them they are for a mesa dual rec then they can get you the correct grade of tubes that will run just fine in your amp. Mesa's are non-adjustable bias unless you have a bias mod done to it anyways.
