New tubes

I have a question to ask you all about replacing the tubes in an amp.

Im planning on replacing the tubes in my mesa dual recto with some new JJ 6l6 tubes so I was just wondering do I need to get my amp biased by a amp tech before I can put these new set of tubes into my amp.

Or would it be perfectly acceptable If I was to just go ahead and replace my old tubes with the new one's.

As long as you tell the vendor what amp they will be going in you will be fine.

If you're going with JJ's, get them at eurotubes.com. Thats all they deal with there.
