New tube time?

My ED head is 2 years old now. I gig about 55 shows a year - but probably use the ED just a little more than half of them. So it might have 100 or more 4 hour bar gigs.

I noticed the past couple times I played it the two gain voices don't sound as smooth as they used to, sorta more raspy I guess.

Do you suspect the 6L6's could be the culprit?

Absolutely. Depending on volume level, they might be good for a couple hundred hours. They'll probably work fine for many more gigs, but the tone will change.
