all the guitars are my jp6 through the mark IV
i used alot of different settings and sounds
tell me what you think

ill say right now
the solo at the end
i dont know what happened
i ran my mark IV through a 1960A marshall 4x12
and miked it with a 57 and a 421 and ran it into through the focusrite pre's in the control 24 then into a digidesign 96 I/O into a HD2 rig

and it sounded like a fizzy *******
no matter what i did
i think it may have had to do with the marshall having a 16 Ohm input
and the mark IV only has 8 and 4 outputs
oh well
im gonna redo that last solo soon
but the rest is good
tell me what you think

thanks in advance

If the ohms on the cab are equal or bigger than the power amp,it's ok,no problem at all.
I didn't like the song , kind of boring without any excitements.
Tone on solos sounded muddy to me. Need treble .
Excepted for the last one wich you said that is fuzzy,no I think that it's the only that sounds with a good equalization.
I don't know why people still recording muddy guitars.
Obvious it will be better if you add some treble to the first one but if I had to choose,I'll pick up the last one tone.
luck

well i was going for a very warm tone for those first ones
my eq was set in an n shape opposite of the v

i think that they are warm and do lack some presence however they are still clear and i wouldnt say they are muddy

the last solo is ok
i like the higher notes better

anyway thanks for your comments
and i did know that about the ohm thing
i was just wondering if it could have an effect on the tone of the amp
as it sounded completely different coming out of the 16 ohm cab
as opposed to my 8 ohm speaker in the combo

all that matters is IF YOU LIKED SO ENJOY IT
Tones are a matter of taste ,I agree with you first solo is very warm but a little treble will make notes go out of the mix (personal taste again )
Anyway it's a great tone, mark series tone's including triaxis are the sweetest !
