New Tolex...worth it ?

Hi,

Just wondering...would handing my Rectifier head over to an automobile upholstery specialist to re-cover with a new custom tolex, a safe option ? Also what have your experiences been as far as re-doing the tolexes on heads goes; prices, end result etc ?

There is a member here GTS that does exceptional work. You should do a search.

When you send a head case to get retolexed you remove the amp. This way they will not damage it and if there is shipping the weight is significantly less.
