Yes, the Mark Iv can be used with 6V6's but you must use a full quad and be in tweed power mode. Tweed drops the voltage across the amp.

Is it possible to use 6V6 in a Road King?

When the Roadking was reviewed by Guitarplayer after its' introduction at NAMM Guitarplayer said that 6V6's were an option. When the production model came out , Boogie told me that 6V6's couldn't be used in the Roadking. That killed my desire for a Roadking. Anyone know anything different? :? :? :?: :?:
