I am running a simple rig at the moment to work on a noise issue with a brand new 2:90. Preamp into 2:90 into 2 Mesa 4x12 cabinets. When deep is engaged there is a very low end hum that is very apparent. It is still there when not engaged but not nearly as noticeable. The Mesa 2:50 I just traded was dead quiet with the preamp. What would be the first things to check regarding this?

I have already checked cables and make sure it was not a ground issue. The ground switch on the preamp or the power amp does not affect the noise at all, I even tried a hum eliminator in between the two and it altered nothing in the hum.

Thanks for any input.

Make sure that the power settings for your Triaxis is set to GROUND LIFT instead of GROUND ON. That should take care of that.
