Hi all,

I just got mine yesterday. I got a head and will be running it mainly with a 2 x 12. It sounds ridiculous. There are so many more tones possible than with the Mark IV I've had for almost 12 years. I dig the layout and the power of the tone controls is quite nice.

When I first turn it on, all three foot switch channels lights are on until I select a channel. It works fine after that. I wonder if that is how most people's foot switches come to life. It does not seem like a problem.

I am going to NAMM today and will be gone for the weekend. I almost wish I wasn't going as I want to dive right in.

Thanks,

,

That is what mine does. If I start strumming before selecting a channel, it alway starts on channel 1, even if I left it on channel 3.

This is how both of my amps act when i power them on. ie: normal behaviour :)

Mine's backwards- when I first fire it up, it defaults to channel one, but none of the lights are lit until I select a channel.

That's how mine works as well. No lights for channels on power up. It defaults to ch. 1, but the tone has less power (still sounds awesome, for some applications better) until I fully engage ch.1.
