Just picked up a Mark IV yesterday and LOVE IT!
Owned the Mark III in the past and loved that as well but the IV is really bringing it to the table.

Nothing else much to add but what a kick ass amp! :D

Dan

I never realized how "Touchy" everything is on that amp.
A slight movement TOTALLY changes the tone of the amp!

But thats a good thing that the EQ 'actually works'!

Owned too many amps in the past 28 years where you can crank the knobs all day long and BARELY hear a change of tone.

Good to be back!
This amp is going no where.
I know I have said these words COUNTLESS times in the past.......

But after all this....I have it pretty narrowed down to what I want/like.
:D

get that amp switcher yet?
No.....but been thinking that my next step might be to do the wet/dry/wet.
Grab another Cab and a power amp.
I heard it a couple weeks ago at my place during the Amp fest and it BLEW ME AWAY!!!
The guy was running his RM100 like that and it was one of the best sounds I have heard.
I think with the Mark or the 5150 it will be CRUSHING!

I went kind of crazy with the whole W/D, W/D/W, 2~4 amps thing again for a few years. I am back to one amp at a time for a bit. More amps do make the sound huge fast.

You folks actually gig with more than one amp on stage? The set up and break down is killing me just for one amp and all it's darned appendages...arrive at the gig early for set up, stay late after the gig for break down, arrive at home to unload the stuff, then finally try to get some sleep....

I have done gigs with 1-3 amps. Are you in really bad shape or something ? The 4x12's only weigh a little over 100 pounds and the amps are around 50 pounds each. When I was younger I loaded trucks for a living at times, I would not consider this much physical work. :D

I gig with 2 cabs all the time but only one amp at a time. All though I just got an amp switcher so that may change :D
