New Dual Recto ?s

ive been playing with a dual recto short stack for about a year now, i have been messing with the settings and i cant seem to find a happy medium i can either get nice heavy lows but then it seem to sacrifice the the highs for hitting the single notes, then if i adjust the other way i get nice crisp highs but then the lows arent as ballsy as they were befor. Im thinking of correcting this with some rack gear just looking for some opinions/advice one what other people with this set up have tried. I play metal music so i and looking for something with nice heavy ballsy lows, and has nice crisp clear highs as well for the single notes.

I've spent several months trying to get a decent sound out of my dual recto. My JSX smokes it. I'm about ready to sell the thing.
