howdy.
ok...so as my quest to make everything right to my ears continues, i am now trying to do something i don't know if it is even possible to do.
I want to try to dial in my Rectifier Preamp sound out of my Rocktron Prophesy. does anyone on here have any experience with the Prophesy?
I have never gotten the hang of the thing, and am always one step away from selling it, yet i feel as if i just dont know how to use it correctly.
i currently play in my band with just a Gretsch Tennessee Rose into the Recto Preamp, then out of that into my 2:90 to a Mesa 4x12 Recto Cab.
no effects.
i have been thinking of creating presets for the songs and solo boosts with minor effects, hence thinking of using the Prophesy i have had just sitting around...but i just dont understand how to get a good sound out of it.
anyone with experience with a prophesy, is it even possible to match a Recto Pre (ch. 2-vintage) sound??
