Need Help Removing Old Capacitors

I've got my new caps for the DC-10 but cannot get the old ones off the PCB. They are attached with what looks like silicone but I don't have room to get a blade underneath it. Any suggestions so I don't crack the PCB? I clipped the leads so that wouldn't be an issue and will remove them after I get the cap off.

A hair dryer may help make the glue more malleable.
