I've got a Digidesign 002 and am running ProTools LE and I'm looking for a good tube preamp. Do you guys have any recommendations?

UA Solo/610 for a single preamp:
http://www.uaudio.com/products/analog/SOLO610/index.html $800 at Sweewater

UA 2-610 if you need dual preamps:
http://www.uaudio.com/products/analog/2-610/index.html $2100 at Sweewater

Universal Audio has some fine rack-mount combinations like the 6176 that combines a 610 pre & a 1176 limiting amp (compressor). Poke around on their site for more.

UA is what I'd buy but Focusrite, Chandler, Avalon, Manley, Vintech, Grace, & GrooveTubes would be other high-quality units to look into.

Good luck & let us know what you end up with! :)

You can use it before your channel input & turn the channel gain or trim to Unity.
