Need help looking for a new effects rack

i am getting rid of my digitech 1101.Too much trouble with the triaxis.
What are other good units worth trying?I still own a xpression and used to own a g major.
I am running a triaxis>eq>2:100

Back to the G major or G major II?? I love my g major but am using it with a studio pre etc.

The Xpression works fine for me in that setup (2:90 instead of 2:100).

Is there a reason you don't want to use the Xpression? From what I can tell that's a helluva processor.

The g major was nice.I just hated how it coloured my tone.
I liked most of the effects better in the g major vs the xpression.
The xpression has less colouring.Just sounds thinner.
The 1101 was great,just to much weird noises with the triaxis.
Was thinking of the g major 2 or g system.

You got the latest firmware update (C48 I think it is), the update where they fix the position of the noise gate? With that and a cable swap I've pretty much eliminated the noise issues with my 1101 and Triaxis. I think the main culprit was the crappy cables that I apparently was using between the 1101 and the Triaxis. I attempted to lift the ground on those cables and when I didn't get any sound at all I replaced them with better cables, reset the 1101 through the wizard, and with the noise gate on it is dead silent when I'm not playing, and while playing there is just the inherit noise from the gain of the Triaxis that you'd get just playing through it anyway...

Back to a xpression for now.
Almost all the problems i had were with my clean patches,not my distortion patches.
I tried all the updates.Replaced all my cables with palnet waves.
Fixed nothing.Digitech told me that the triaxis doesn't like anything in front of it.
And to use setup 6,which then i lost alot of the effects(wah,distortions and whammy).
The xpression is working good for me.Nice reverbs and delays.
