..help!!!it was an instrumental during the 70's...maybe early 80's...it was a country(eeek!!) guitar sort of diddy that "crossed over"-it was popular, but I can't remember the title-the melody is stuck in my head and I will die unless i figure this out-def. for the older crowd here-had some of those popular coutry style double stops in it...arrrrggghhhhh!!!it drive me crazy...

ahh...thought of that, but it was more country...way more country,actually..it was "Buckaroo", from Buck Owens and his Buckaroos....a little older than I thought..maybe someone covered it,but the melody has been in my head for a while...googled "crossover instrumentals" and presto!!!!I can sleep now

Haha I was just gonna suggest this! Sometimes if I'm having trouble remembering a song, I'll google any of the lyrics I can remember or parts of the song that stand out to me, and sometimes you get lucky! Glad to hear you found it, I know the madness

Cool song. I was made to watch Hee Haw every saturday night. Living in Alabama it was a given. Not a big country fan but Roy Clark was a great player of many instruments. Watching Junior Samples try to read off the cue cards was hilarious-BR549. Looking at those old Hee Haws now it was a funny show with some hot girls and great players.
