Need help getting perfect metallica tone on my Mark IV

I cant quite get the metallica tone of the black album on my mk iv anyone want to help??

That is a II on most of the album.

Try pulling down both 750/2200 on a smile shape.

Not to much they started using some mids about this time.

I spent some time in the 80 doing the Mc licka thing.
Then Adam Jones came around and I kind of lost my mind.

Over 40 G worth of guitar junk at this time.

In the end I ended up with my sound.

You're not going to get TBA tone because that album is layered with so many tracks. Some tips though: EMG loaded guitar, alder body works best for clear, aggresive tone, scoop 750 slider, and the rest depends on your technique. Have fun.
