I thought that I would show off my two new cabinets for my Mark V! I Built both and covered them with a Red/Burgandy Croco Embossed Leather. I just need to wrap up a few things like the leather corners and loading some speakers in. I am also waiting on a 4x12 Jack Plate from Mesa. The Top cab is my clone of a Mesa 2x12 and the bottom of a mesa 4x12. I can't wait to let them Rip!

Pardon my French ... Holy ****!

Does your mark 5 have the same color?

Do you actually save money by building your own cabinets like that? I'm thinking same price as a standard cab?

Currently, My Mark V is not the same, but that is my next project. I started these cab while I was waiting for the M5 to show up. Now that i have it in my possesion, I can build the head cab the same.

For the 2x12, I am putting in Vintage 30's. For the 4x12, I am up in the air for now and will probably do so down the road some time.

For me to buy it this way, it would have been way expensive. I think I have about $500 in materials and that includes the pair of speakers. I have a ton of the leather left over as well and enough baltic birch to do a couple head cabs.

The leather I ended up getting off of Ebay. I checked a bunch of suppliers and they had the color I wanted, the right embossing, as well as, the right price.
