Hey folks,

I have an Engl Invader 150 + Z-12 footswitch with about 30 hours on it.
I'm willing to trade it for a Road King v2 (preferably) or a Roadster + cash. My Invader has a small dent in the tolex at the back (it was there when I bought it last July ... and I couldn't get any discount for it!).

PM me if interested.

Thanks!

I have the invader 100 and have played many Rectos including the road king and roadster. The Invader has a tighter low end that responds much faster than the Road King. I'd say the Invader is on the edge of sounding too compressed but doesn't step over the line

So take a Marshall JCM 800 and mix it with a Mesa Mark 4 and I think you end up with something like the Engl Invader series. It's slightly dry but not too dry but still has good saturation for chunk and lead work. Also, the Invader has an excellent 2nd channel. It does a more convincing mid gain tone than the Recto but can also be pushed into high gain by pushing the "hi gain" button which affects all 4 channels.

I'm still looking to trade my Invader for a RK-II or a Roadster+cash ...
