When I bought my MKV head over a year ago I sold a Quilted maple MKIV combo to get it. I knew one day I would have to get a MKV combo one day. I joke it's my retirement amp when for when I'm tired of hauling a head and 4x12 cabs around! This is Bubinga and has some beautiful quilting that pictures don't do justice!

Hardwood ranges from $720 for plain hardwood t $1730 for premium wood like quilted or flamed maple, bubinga and myrtlewood. I like the sound of the open C-90 as well. I'm used to a closed 4x12 with the Mark V but for years used a MK IV and a DC-5 combo live.

BIG DERAIL of your thread

(still extreme beautiful)

You have MK IIC+ and Mk V

Does the CH3 IIC+ on Mark V life up to real C+?
If not whats the gap

Thanks for an answer

First of all, my first post here, do I win a free Bubinga!?

I am looking at a Mark V custom head and cab and also a Bubinga combo, your setup is gorgeous.

Welcome to the board! The MK V is a killer amp and I'm sure you will love it.

Thank you. I am still trying to narrow my amp choices down between a Mark V combo or head and 212 vertical or a few other manufacturers (Swart St Stereo etc). I'm getting there though.

Love the bubinga - was originally looking for that, but "settled" on this one - actual one that was purchased. I've got to get some pics of it in the wild - even better looking in person. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Mark5-112PRGF
