My Band Signed to Facedown Records!

Hello all! I posted this a while back, but, the official announcement came out on Tuesday! My band inked a deal with Facedown Records and our cd "This World Is Not My Home" will be nationally released on January 19th. Here's some links to our music:

Tomorrow we (Onward To Olympas) are signing to Facedown Records. CD will be hitting the market sometime early next year (likely January) and tours to follow.

Formal announcement should be in the next couple weeks!

Thanks so much guys! It means a lot! As for tour dates, once the formal announcement comes out, we're going to start working on them. Should start early next year around the cd release date. They're letting me graduate from college this semester (it was my last one anyway) so, after December, the fun starts.

forgive me for not knowing but are these guys an independent record label?? or are they a big corporate record label?

there are so many record label companies coming out these days that i don't even try to keep up with all of them except for a few independent record labels that is.

Big corporate record labels can really do harm to the artistic integrity as well as band cohesion

Hell even small record label companies can create huge compromises in terms of your playing and overall contributions to the band (Especially when one of your best friends and former keyboard player's father owns the studio and tries to have complete control over the musical production of the music)
